Campaign Performance Report - September

Actions Taken in September:

  • The previous campaign was paused, and a new campaign was launched using a Manual CPC strategy. This change ensures that your ads are no longer displayed for irrelevant keywords, helping to avoid unnecessary costs.

  • The advantage of the new strategy over the previous one is that we can adjust the Max CPC (maximum cost per click) for each keyword as needed. By doing so, we can increase the Max CPC for keywords that generate conversions to secure more conversions, and reduce the Max CPC for those that do not convert to avoid wasting budget.

  • On several occasions, your ads appeared for irrelevant keywords. Since we review your campaign daily, we promptly added these keywords to the Negative Keywords list to ensure your ads are no longer triggered by them. Some of these irrelevant keywords included:

  1. metal supply near me

  2. tube acier inox 316l

  3. alloy 316

  4. what is 316 stainless steel

  • As part of the new Manual CPC strategy, we have been testing different Max CPC values for your keywords daily to get the most clicks at the lowest cost.

  • The following keywords brought the most clicks for your campaign last month:

  1. stainless steel tube

  2. 316 stainless steel

  3. 304 stainless steel

  4. steel suppliers

Planned Actions for Next Month:

  • We will add new keywords to the Search Keyword list and further optimize the existing ones to increase impressions.

  • To improve your Quality Score, we may add additional content to your landing page and make use of the keywords with the highest impressions to reduce costs and boost the Quality Score.

Glossary of Terms:

  • Manual CPC: A bidding strategy where we manually control the maximum amount you're willing to pay for each click on your ad.

  • Max CPC: The highest amount you're willing to pay for each click on a particular keyword.

  • Conversions: Actions (like form submissions or purchases) that are tracked as the campaign's primary goals.

  • Negative Keywords: Keywords for which your ads will not be shown, preventing them from being triggered by irrelevant searches.

  • Impressions: The number of times your ad is shown to users.

  • Quality Score: A score Google assigns to your ads based on their relevance, the quality of your landing pages, and your ad’s expected click-through rate, which can affect your ad costs and performance.

FAQS

-What Does Domain Authority Mean?

It is really important to define what domain authority is and what isn't in order to point your digital strategy in the right direction.

It gives sites a score ranked between 1 and 100, with the higher end of the scale representing a better outcome. Finding out your score helps you with building your brand and creating a website that you know clients and customers will want to engage with. It will also help you see the areas that may need a little more improvement.

-What Does Linking Root Domains Mean?

Number of unique root domains linking to a target. Two links from the same website will only be counted as one linking root domain.

-What Does Spam Score Mean?

Upon its first release, Spam Score analysed a website against 17 spam signalling factors, coined by Moz as ‘spam flags’. As the tool evolved, Moz incorporated more spam signalling factors ‘flags’. There are now 27 ‘spam flags’, which we will explain in detail later.

The aggregate of these flags is represented by a single score that indicates the likeliness of a site being penalized by Google. The more flags a site accumulates, the higher the Spam Score, and the stronger the prediction that it will be perceived as spammy by Google.

-What Does Google Clicks Mean?

How often someone clicked a link from Google to your site.

-What Does Impression Mean?

An impression means that a user has seen (or potentially seen) a link to your site in Search.

-What Does CTR Mean?

Click-through rate. Clicks/Impressions for Google Search clicks.

-What Does The On-Site SEO Score Mean?

The SEO Score is a measure of how well the user-facing and technical aspects of your site contribute to search engine optimization, and ultimately, higher rankings and organic traffic.

-What Does Organic Keywords Mean?

An organic keyword is a keyword used to attract free traffic through search engine optimization (SEO).

-What Does Backlinks Mean?

Backlinks are links from one website to a page on another website. Google and other major search engines consider backlinks “votes” for a specific page. Pages with a high number of backlinks tend to have high organic search engine rankings.
