Campaign Status Review

On July 17, your campaign was launched with a daily budget of $33 under the Maximize Conversions bidding strategy. After one week, due to insufficient clicks and impressions, we decided to switch the strategy to Manual CPC to gain more control over bid management. At that point, we set the CPC for each keyword at $1.5 to drive the desired clicks within a reasonable budget.

Later, on July 22, at your request, the daily budget was reduced from $33 to $20. However, since the number of clicks remained below expectations due to high competition and CPCs, we increased the CPC to $1.7. This adjustment resulted in achieving the targeted number of clicks.

Subsequently, in consultation with you, the daily budget was increased again from $20 to $30 to capture more traffic.

On July 28, changes were made directly by you, where the campaign strategy was modified. This impacted the optimizations we had already set in place, and the results did not follow the initial plan. We attempted to restore the campaign back to its optimized state and reset it to Manual CPC. However, on August 12, further changes were made on your side to keywords and campaign settings, which again pushed the campaign away from its optimal performance.

As a result, due to continuous modifications in daily budget and unaligned changes from your side, the campaign has not yet reached its ideal performance level.

Actions Taken Between July 17 and August 20

  • Daily monitoring of the campaign to ensure performance stability.

  • Adding irrelevant search terms that had received impressions to the negative keyword list to prevent budget waste in the future.

  • Introducing new relevant keywords to broaden reach and capture more targeted clicks.
    Newly added keywords include:
    [auto detailing]
    [winnipeg detailing]
    [interior car cleaning winnipeg]
    [detailing winnipeg]
    [interior car detailing winnipeg]

Next Steps for Re-Optimization

  • Review keywords that were added or removed directly by you.

  • Add more relevant keywords aligned with campaign goals.

  • Expand the negative keyword list to further filter out irrelevant traffic.

  • Improve ad headlines for higher engagement and CTR.

  • Enhance Quality Score of keywords to reduce CPC costs.

  • Analyze user behavior with Microsoft Clarity to optimize the landing page experience.

FAQS

-What Does Domain Authority Mean?

It is really important to define what domain authority is and what isn't in order to point your digital strategy in the right direction.

It gives sites a score ranked between 1 and 100, with the higher end of the scale representing a better outcome. Finding out your score helps you with building your brand and creating a website that you know clients and customers will want to engage with. It will also help you see the areas that may need a little more improvement.

-What Does Linking Root Domains Mean?

Number of unique root domains linking to a target. Two links from the same website will only be counted as one linking root domain.

-What Does Spam Score Mean?

Upon its first release, Spam Score analysed a website against 17 spam signalling factors, coined by Moz as ‘spam flags’. As the tool evolved, Moz incorporated more spam signalling factors ‘flags’. There are now 27 ‘spam flags’, which we will explain in detail later.

The aggregate of these flags is represented by a single score that indicates the likeliness of a site being penalized by Google. The more flags a site accumulates, the higher the Spam Score, and the stronger the prediction that it will be perceived as spammy by Google.

-What Does Google Clicks Mean?

How often someone clicked a link from Google to your site.

-What Does Impression Mean?

An impression means that a user has seen (or potentially seen) a link to your site in Search.

-What Does CTR Mean?

Click-through rate. Clicks/Impressions for Google Search clicks.

-What Does The On-Site SEO Score Mean?

The SEO Score is a measure of how well the user-facing and technical aspects of your site contribute to search engine optimization, and ultimately, higher rankings and organic traffic.

-What Does Organic Keywords Mean?

An organic keyword is a keyword used to attract free traffic through search engine optimization (SEO).

-What Does Backlinks Mean?

Backlinks are links from one website to a page on another website. Google and other major search engines consider backlinks “votes” for a specific page. Pages with a high number of backlinks tend to have high organic search engine rankings.
