Tasks Completed in April

Several updates were made this month based on your requests:

  • At the beginning of April, three campaigns—Reformer Trainer, Matwork Education, and Reformer—were active with a total monthly budget of €1,900. As per your request, the Matwork Education campaign was paused, and the total budget was reduced to €1,000. This budget was then evenly distributed between the two active campaigns, allocating €500 to each.

  • A new ad group named Reformer Strength was created to help target additional keywords and attract more potential clients.

Optimization Efforts

As part of our monthly maintenance routine, search terms were reviewed and cleaned up. Irrelevant keywords were added to the negative keywords list. Here are a few examples:

To prevent German keywords from triggering ads in the English ad group, we excluded the following:

  • [reformer room münchen]

Similarly, to prevent English keywords from triggering ads in the German ad group, the following terms were added as negatives:

Additionally, we optimized ad assets and headlines to improve the average Quality Score, which has now reached 6. We aim to further increase this score in the coming month for even better performance.

Upon its first release, Spam Score analysed a website against 17 spam signalling factors, coined by Moz as ‘spam flags’. As the tool evolved, Moz incorporated more spam signalling factors ‘flags’. There are now 27 ‘spam flags’, which we will explain in detail later.

 

The aggregate of these flags is represented by a single score that indicates the likeliness of a site being penalized by Google. The more flags a site accumulates, the higher the Spam Score, and the stronger the prediction that it will be perceived as spammy by Google.
