Tasks Completed in March:
At the beginning of the month, two campaigns were run by us for inside Vancouver and outside Vancouver. Since one campaign was also run by you, we decided to pause the inside Vancouver campaign that we had created to prevent any conflicts between campaigns. We planned to rerun it as an Ad Experiment, allowing us to compare the inside Vancouver click campaign you ran with the one we created. Both campaigns were run with a $14 budget.
The campaign we created ran from March 16 to March 30, generating 43 clicks at a cost of $89, whereas the click campaign you created received 45 clicks at $88. Since the test period is set for 30 days, we will continue this test until April 15 and share the final results with you. This will help determine which campaign was more effective and which one should remain active or be paused.
Besides these two campaigns, the outside Vancouver campaign performed better than the other two. As a result, its budget was increased from $5 to $10, leading to 8 conversions by the end of the month. This performance was better compared to the other two campaigns, which had higher budgets. Therefore, if you believe that the submission forms from outside Vancouver are of higher quality, we recommend reducing the budget for the inside Vancouver campaigns and reallocating it to the outside Vancouver campaign to achieve more conversions.
Throughout March, in addition to the above, we monitored campaigns daily and optimized CPCs to achieve the highest possible number of clicks. Furthermore, to prevent ads from firing on irrelevant searches, we added irrelevant keywords to the negative keyword list. Some of these keywords are:
sfu summer camps
summer camp parkour
summer camps burnaby
braeburn summer camp
summer camp new westminster
lower mainland summer camps
ubc summer camp 2025
false creek community centre summer camps
easter seals camp bc
Please note that these keywords have been added as Exact Match in the negative keyword list. This means that your ads will not fire if the exact phrases above are searched, but they will still be triggered by broader searches such as summer camps.
Tasks for the Upcoming Month:
The existing campaigns will be reviewed, and once the test period ends, one of them will be paused, and its budget will be reallocated to the remaining campaign. This will allow us to optimize the campaign fully and achieve better clicks at the lowest possible cost.
FAQS
-What Does Domain Authority Mean?
It is really important to define what domain authority is and what isn't in order to point your digital strategy in the right direction.
It gives sites a score ranked between 1 and 100, with the higher end of the scale representing a better outcome. Finding out your score helps you with building your brand and creating a website that you know clients and customers will want to engage with. It will also help you see the areas that may need a little more improvement.
-What Does Linking Root Domains Mean?
Number of unique root domains linking to a target. Two links from the same website will only be counted as one linking root domain.
-What Does Spam Score Mean?
Upon its first release, Spam Score analysed a website against 17 spam signalling factors, coined by Moz as ‘spam flags’. As the tool evolved, Moz incorporated more spam signalling factors ‘flags’. There are now 27 ‘spam flags’, which we will explain in detail later.
The aggregate of these flags is represented by a single score that indicates the likeliness of a site being penalized by Google. The more flags a site accumulates, the higher the Spam Score, and the stronger the prediction that it will be perceived as spammy by Google.
-What Does Google Clicks Mean?
How often someone clicked a link from Google to your site.
-What Does Impression Mean?
An impression means that a user has seen (or potentially seen) a link to your site in Search.
-What Does CTR Mean?
Click-through rate. Clicks/Impressions for Google Search clicks.
-What Does The On-Site SEO Score Mean?
The SEO Score is a measure of how well the user-facing and technical aspects of your site contribute to search engine optimization, and ultimately, higher rankings and organic traffic.
-What Does Organic Keywords Mean?
An organic keyword is a keyword used to attract free traffic through search engine optimization (SEO).
-What Does Backlinks Mean?
Backlinks are links from one website to a page on another website. Google and other major search engines consider backlinks “votes” for a specific page. Pages with a high number of backlinks tend to have high organic search engine rankings.
